Adam is a litigation associate with experience in civil and criminal law.
Prior to joining Millstein & Associates, Adam was an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of California, where he was in court often. He served as a law clerk for two judges on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, a court in the U.S. Virgin Islands and a state court in Minnesota. He has experience with a diverse range of substantive areas, both civil and criminal and complex litigation, and is adept at motion practice and a persuasive writer.
Before entering the law, Adam earned a master’s degree in International Relations and European Studies from Central European University in Budapest, Hungary, and taught for several years in South Korea. He speaks French and Korean. While in law school, Adam worked on the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in the Hague, externed for a federal judge, drafted sentencing guideline profiles for publication at the Robina Institute for Criminal Law and Criminal Justice, worked at a large law firm in Seoul, Korea, and worked on two law journals.
